One of my favorite flowers that can be seen all over Cache Valley in the summer are beautiful poppies. I was very excited as I was near the Logan LDS Temple and saw this beautiful poppy field! This was the perfect setting to make unique, seasonal portraits with Miss Sophie. This little toddler loved being in the flowers but especially loved my little white Ikea chair that I take with me to many of my child and family portrait sessions.

I love the curiosity that children display. Miss Sophie delicately handled a flower that she was handed not really sure what to think of it. Like all little children who are exploring new items, she put the flower in her mouth. I was laughing so hard at her reaction of the yucky flower that I couldn’t hold my camera still to even take one photograph! It was a priceless expression!
After trying to eat the flower Sophie smiled in defiance that her parents told her not to put the flower in her mouth and she still did. I love this coy little smile. 
I love photographing children! I love how carefree, happy and easily amused they are. Children bring me such great joy to interact with!
Mallory Gregersen - I love this! Great work! I am looking in to getting family pictures done this year and comparing prices right now. How much do you charge? Also, do you release the printing rights? And when are the poppies in bloom?? I absolutely love this!
