My Fun Sunday Ritual

Lately I have really loved paining my finger nails. I used to have acrylic nails but it got to be too expensive and time consuming to keep up with.  Every Sunday Craig and I watch a movie together and I paint my fingernails.  I took a quick snapshot of my nails with my phone to show you what they look like this week.   A fun new thing I have used are the  Sally Hansen Polish Strips. (which I have on my thumb and ring finger)  They have lots of fun patterns and it actually lasts longer than regular nail polish with a topcoat.sally hansen polish stripsPINIMAGEPinterest has definitely been my inspiration in deciding how to polish my nails lately.  I wish I would’ve taken more pictures of things that I’ve done.  Instead I’ll share some of my favorites from pinterest and their appropriate image credit with tutorial links.

Image Credit: All Lacquered Up  this is a couple different kinds of nail polish marbled in water!  I trick is to use cuticle oil on your skin around the nail and under your nail so the polish doesn’t stick.  I tried this and it was awesome!

Tomorrow I will get back to a photography post but I wanted to share something fun and random about me.

  • Belinda Fanjul Olsen - It’s cheapest to buy the sally hansen strips at sam’s club but you get tons of them. I usually buy them at Walmart. The trick is that I will cut a strip length wise so I can use it for two nails and make them go farther. I then store the rest in a zip lock bag so they don’t dry out.ReplyCancel
