One of my favorite things about living in Logan is that there are so many beautiful sites in Cache Valley. As a photographer I am inspired by many of them. There is one location that I find myself going to often. I walk around it, photograph it, have a photograph of it located in my home. I think it’s one of the most beautiful locations you can go to in Northern Utah. I wonder if you can guess where it is… I’ll give you a hint: it’s in the heart of downtown Logan.
Another hint: it’s located on a beautiful Cache Valley hill. The rock to make it was hauled from the Temple Fork area in Logan Canyon. This beautiful building is over 127 years old.
Here it is: The beautiful Logan LDS Temple. I love how you can see it from almost anywhere in the valley. One of my favorite views is entering Cache Valley through Sardine Canyon. The Temple is the first thing I always look for. When I see it, I know I’m home. This location has been where several significant moments in my life happened. My parents were married here, my husband proposed to me here and my husband and I were married here. Special times!
