Meeting with Kazia and Joey for our pre-wedding consultation was so much fun! We met at one of my favorite Cache Valley restaurants, The Crepery. We had a casual dinner while talking about their history together and upcoming May wedding plans. Kazia’s family and Joey’s family have known each other for years. Nothing romantic blossomed until their college years when they were in the same student ward.
I loved watching Kazia and Joey as they recounted the story of how they got engaged…..Joey and Kazia had plans to go to a birthday party together but Joey had a ‘work training’ and asked Kazia to go and he’d meet her there. Well, he never showed. Instead, Kazia received her first clue for a scavenger hunt. After several stops, she walked up the trail on Canyon Road to the Logan Temple. As she approached the top there were dozens of white luminaries lining the path. Along the way there were photos of each milestone they’ve celebrated together. When Kazia reached the top, Joey was there waiting for her on one knee 🙂 So thoughtful and adorable!
