Sometimes it’s serendipitous that people come into your life. Sarah, has been a huge blessing in my life!  She always finds happiness and laughter in any situation.  She is a gourmet cook and I have been spoiled by her phenomenal cooking more than my waistline needs.  I have many fond memories of working side by side with Sarah at Maceys Floral.  Some of my favorite times at work with Sarah have been working long crazy nights of Valentine’s, large weddings, Cache Valley high school proms and Mother’s Day.  I am extremely fortunate to call Sarah my friend!  I love her and her adorable family!!!

I have been photographing several engaged couples lately and LOVE them!  The next engaged couple to be featured is Cassie and Spenser who are getting married this December.  Spenser’s older sister, Tessa, and I were childhood friends that reconnected through Facebook .  I was lucky enough to have Spenser fill me in on what his family has been up to during our session!  We started their session at Utah State University, a pivotal location that brought these two lovebirds together.

In August I did a contest and encouraged people to take pictures of their own families.  Craig and I chose the Lindsay family because we saw a lot of their personalities in this photo.  The Lindsay’s are building their own home and life has been a little hectic for them.   I was excited to do their session with their adorable kidlets!

Today I had an endoscopy trying to help figure out what’s been making me sick.  The doctor said that he didn’t see anything abnormal.  He wants to try a few more things before he recommends they take out my gallbladder/exploratory surgery.  When I saw this saying on pinterest I chuckled and definitely thought it was appropriate for my situation.  In my opinion, life is much more enjoyable when we find ways to make ourselves smile!

  • Chelsea Lewis - I really hope they find out what is going on with your unhappy tummy! And I really hope your unhappy tummy doesn’t decide to be unhappy next weekend! =)ReplyCancel

  • Belinda Olsen - Chels, I’ll be there next weekend. No matter what! I’m excited for our photography weekend and eating Firehouse!ReplyCancel

  • Tara Siddoway - Oh Belinda. I love you and admire you so! I think that is a great quote because no one’s life goes by “Plan A”. I think I heard a quote once that said “If you want to hear God laugh, tell him your plans.” I like to think of that one when things go a different way than I was expecting. 🙂ReplyCancel
